Which wood do we
use? |

All are furniture is made in
complete shishamwood. We do not use
any plywood or mdf whatsoever.
Plywood is only used as a second
sheet required with mattresses.
Selected pieces are also made in
mango wood or acacia, which will be
clearly mentioned. |

What is sheesham wood? What is the
life of the wood? |

The wood is categorised as
sheesham wood as it is part of the
Rosewood family of trees.
Although it is part of the same
family, we clearly state that it is
not the conventional dark rosewood.
However this wood is as durable as
teakwood, which has a grainier look
once finished. |

Has this wood been treated?
|

Before the wood is cut in the
machines we do seasoning & chemical
treatment of the wood in order to
prevent problems of
warping/bending/wood borer. This
treatment is done in our in-house
plants.
A characteristic of any wood is that
a certain amount of moisture is
always retained in the wood, which
cannot be complete removed.

How does one maintain this
furniture? |

Avoid exposing the wood to direct
sunlight/water & very humid
conditions. Few times a year you
could apply a wax quote or touch up
the furniture with polish.

Do we give guarantee on this
furniture? |

|
We offer a one-year service
guarantee of our products. However
for replacements the transportation
charges are applicable. |

Do you make customised furniture?
|

We do make selected range of
customised furniture. Carving &
Inlay work orders are not
undertaken.
We require 8 to 10 weeks to
deliver customised furniture.

Presently we do not have any dealers
outside of Mumbai. |

Can you deliver outside Mumbai?

Yes we can deliver outside Mumbai as

upon amount of purchase & place of

How long do you take to deliver?

For something that is in stock we
deliver within 3 to 7 working days.

Can I change the finish of the
product? |

We normally finish the product in
the natural colour as that is the
most popular. We can however make it
a darker shade (not lighter) for
which charges will be as applicable.

Is delivery free? |

Delivery is free with Mumbai for
purchase above 10000. Octroi charges
as applicable. |

Note: Since this is a
handmade product, minor blemished,
variations in colour & moisture
effects on wood will occur depending
upon location & frequency of use.
Regularly used furniture tends to
have lesser such problems.
